Accommodation

Prato offers a range of long and short term accommodation options for both students and conference guests, many of which are less than a 10 minute walk from our campus.

Students

Accommodation- Dimora 16

You can share a room with other students in a self-contained apartment and experience living together and discovering Prato. Some popular residences for students include Dimora 16, Foresteria San Niccolò and In Santa Trinità Rooms & Apartments.

Alternatively, you can stay in a hotel, where breakfast and daily cleaning are included in the rate. You can choose either option when you enrol in a Prato program.

Accommodation is booked through Reho Study Tours and Monash Abroad will provide full details when when your enrolment is confirmed. To view property facilities and for further information, please refer to our local accommodation list.

Homestay program

Our homestay program provides you with not only accommodation and food but also an authentic intercultural experience. You'll experience family life in Italy and you'll also have the opportunity to develop your Italian language and communication skills.

Conference guests and visitors

We can advise you about your options, and negotiate group bookings and reductions, but you must book directly with your chosen hotel or residence. For further information and to check out facilities, please refer to our local accommodation list.

Monash staff

We have six serviced apartments which are available for use by Monash staff. The apartments are conveniently located on our campus, on the third floor of Palazzo Vaj. For more information please look at our Apartments page.

A tourist tax is applied to all guests staying in accommodation in Italy. You’ll pay this in cash upon check in.
